4 – 6 red potatoes cubed ▢1/2 c water ▢1 1/2 TB butter ▢1 1/2 TB brown sugar ▢parsley or your favorite herb/spice ▢garlic salt and pepper to taste

Step : 1

In a saucepan, combine red potatoes, water, butter, and brown sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.

Step : 2 

Reduce to low heat and simmer for six minutes, or until tender.

Step : 3

Return to high heat and sauté the potatoes until tender and all of the water has evaporated. It took me an additional ten to fifteen minutes.

Step : 4

Eliminate from heat. Add pepper and salt, then garnish with cilantro; savor.
