Step : 1

Chicken should be trimmed and divided into serving-sized portions. Whisk together the egg and lemon juice in a medium basin. Cover and refrigerate the chicken portions in the egg mixture for thirty minutes.

Preheating the oven to 400°F is required. Prepare a baking tray by lining it with foil or parchment paper.

Whisk together the bread crumbs, Parmesan, lemon zest, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Coat both sides of the chicken segments with the bread crumbs. Spray the ingredients with cooking spray and arrange on the prepared baking sheet.

After 15 minutes, turn and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until golden brown and crusty. Accompany with freshly sliced lemons.
