RECIPE FOR HOMEMADE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP

Ingredients 

1 tablespoon unsalted butter ▢1 cup sliced carrots ▢½ cup chopped celery ▢1 tablespoon minced garlic ▢4 (14.5-ounce) cans full-sodium chicken broth ▢1 (14.5-ounce) can vegetable broth ▢2 chicken breasts seasoned to taste ▢1 teaspoon dried basil ▢½ teaspoon dried oregano ▢salt and pepper to taste ▢1½ cups medium egg noodles

Step : 1

Melt butter over medium heat in a large saucepan. Stir in the carrots and celery and sauté for approximately 5 minutes, or until tender. Add garlic and continue cooking for one minute.

Step : 2 

Bring to a boil the broths, minced chicken, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Step : 3

Stir in egg noodles and reduce heat to a simmer; cover and simmer for twenty minutes. Keep toasty.
