Recipe for Homemade Apple Cider

Four pounds of an assortment of apples (eight to ten medium apples) 1 midsize orange piece Sticks of cinnamon three One teaspoonful ground nutmeg 2 teaspoons of whole cloves 1/2 cup light brown sugar, compressed eleven to ten glasses of water



Simply core and coarsely slice the apples; peeling is unnecessary. They should be placed in a large saucepan with a minimum capacity of 5 1/2 quarts. Add the orange quarters to the saucepan.

STEP- 2 

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing basin before adding the egg. While stirring incorporate the compressed dry potatoes into the batter until they are coated evenly

STEP- 3 

Reduce heat to medium and simmer the pot uncovered for one hour after bringing it to a boil over high heat. Simmer for an additional two hours over medium-low heat with the lid on. When the liquid is done, it should start to transform into an amber hue

STEP- 4 

In a large basin or punch bowl, strain the cider through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth placed over a standard colander. Remove as much fluid as possible by squeezing the fruit, then dispose of the pulp
