1 (12-ounce) bag pretzel rods about 30 rods ▢1 (16-ounce) package chocolate candy quick ▢desired toppings and sprinkles 2 cups brown sugar ▢1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk ▢1 cup light corn syrup ▢½ cup unsalted butter ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and milk. Boil, stirring continuously, over medium-high heat for 5 to 6 minutes. Approximately 240°F . After removing from heat, stir in the vanilla.
Place each caramel-coated pretzel on wax paper. You may proceed with this step again if you desire more moist pretzels.
As the caramel sets, rapidly melt the entire tray of chocolate candies per the instructions on the container.
When the caramel becomes slightly tacky to the touch, raise the rod with care and coat it in chocolate. For hardening, place on a clean sheet of parchment paper.
Immediately distribute your preferred toppings over the pretzels, prior to the chocolate setting, to ensure that it adheres.
After the chocolate has hardened, melt a few squares of the white confectionery quickly and drizzle over the top to create an aesthetically pleasing white drizzle.
